If you don’t like what’s happening to trans people, now is the time to tell the PM. He needs to hear from the majority, not just the TERFs. It’s not just toilets. It’s also about prisons, sport, access to gender affirming healthcare and puberty blockers. It’s human rights. contact.no10.gov.uk

The government’s transphobic statutory guidance is now in force, telling organisations that provide services they can no longer be trans inclusive. This will have a devastating impact on the everyday lives of trans people. So we’re backing a legal challenge against it: https://goodlaw.social/pmbo

Nothing says man of the people fighting the establishment than a bloke alone in a field in his double breasted blazer and slacks! Is Alan Partridge just out of shot?
Would you vote for a man alone in a field, dressed for a garden party nobody else attended?
Palantir hoovering up European defence and NHS contracts whilst funnelling earnings back to the US to pay negligible corporate tax is a complete failure of digital sovereignty. European states must stop enriching tech firms that drain public coffers. Is it time to ban them? #FBPE
Palantir funnels earnings to US to avoid European taxes, report finds
A new study finds that Palantir, which boasts of high profit margins in the U.S., barely scrapes a margin in Europe, which helps slash its tax bill.

In 2023, Time magazine covered the immune damage from Covid. The research is just getting more concerning now three years on and it’s very troubling that we are still being told it’s ok for us to catch this. Catching Covid will make you more vulnerable to infections. time.com/6265510/covi...
Why wasn’t this front page of every newspaper in the country. The whole evidence goes against everything we were told. That schools were safe.
The final preliminary hearing for the Children & Young People’s module was today, CVF, again, made the case for safety. Children's deaths *would* have been higher if many Clinically Vulnerable families had not kept their children away from schools. ⚠️Long thread 1/

The president wants to let people pay for early access to his social media posts. This would give wealthy people and corporations access to market-moving information before anyone else. It’s another case of corruption for this administration.
I can’t believe we’re still having a debate about whether there’s a trade off between job creation and measures to green the economy. There isn’t. The evidence was clear years ago - a green economy creates far more jobs than the fossil fuel economy it replaces. Come on Labour, catch up …

Yes and the media didn’t cover any of the important evidence prominently, just quiet tokenism.
It absolutely is the prime player. The media has let us down enormously in the reporting of risks laid bare in the Covid inquiry. There is no talk of vascular airborne risks. I feel very let down by them. It’s not just the vulnerable at risk the research clearly shows it’s everyone. Even most cev
Interesting vax thoughts from the UK: 🔹️The article suggests social media isn't a primary player in GB's falling vax rates. (It sure is in the US, though factors making vaccination more/less likely don't work in isolation: it's not either/or, but both & more.) 🧵1/10 share.google/msNBmvFkjFNr...

I really don’t understand why the government aren’t breaking with the US on covid and taking action. The economic burden of long covid is enormous and having rising long covid cases across a population is not good for the future of the country. It’s a major mistake.
