My Kindle is now (as of May) no longer supported, so I put it in flight mode and am still working my way through the 100+ unread books on it. Just keeps on going, only need to charge it infrequently. They are the Nokia bricks of our time.

I’ve discovered that the battery life is approx 5-6x longer if I keep it in airplane mode and only connect to wi-fi when I need to download something. Quite surprised that connectivity eats that much charge.
