I’m so angry that these are transphobe sheets. I was too old for HP to matter much to me, but now it’s infecting my Halloween home shopping. Where are the cool spooky sheet sets?
Nor do we want to be on Truth Social. I would hate to find a welcome home there. I would hate to be somebody who would be palatable to such a place. We don't go on Truth, because nobody needs bullies. They *do* try to come on Bluesky, because bullies need the rest of us.

Harvey & Joyce's adopted daughter Danielle is trying to raise funds to deal with Pekar's raw archive; basically four storage lockers full of notes, outlines, ideas, etc. Note this is not Pekar's comics per se. Those rights have been tied up in court for years. Long, ugly story. Worth backing.

Appropriate air quotes because the most infuriating part about Americans debating "lockdown" is that it simply never happened. Having to pick up your Applebees and eat it on the sectional does not count. There wasn't even a brief moment where "everything" was closed. That's not real.

like downtown or any central part of DC is used to dealing with big events, security, etc--it's inconvenient but par for the course--but just month after month of huge parts of the core being inaccessible for these events that aren't truly public is just so maddening i simply can't do another one
