Genuinely a bit more than HALF of my time since graduating has been spent in deep all consuming crunch, but I very much want to get back out and meet up with folks during not-just-conventions 👀 If any mutuals on here are like, anywhere between dc and nyc, dm me! let's vibe!

Flintober 👁 day 2: Flint #art #oc #thecuriosities

I miss getting to slap comics on tumblr and then being at cons where people had actually read the thing before I printed it? ...anyway I shoved my dragon ball & sailor moon fanzines onto a little website for free. I figure if you like them, you'll buy something down the road? megzines.neocities.org

Another controversial opinion: a lot of the work men have to do to undo cultures of bad behaviour will definitely require good men to be Actually Good Friends to men who have harmed others. As in, weekly-D&D, Saturday-barbecue, yeah-I'll-help-you-move friends, who will also Take No Shit.

They are going to deregister as many Democrats as they can. And they're going to hype these numbers to try to convince you, "you don't need to vote; you've got this; one little vote won't matter." They'll try to push R's who would stay home that they need to vote. Don't be complacent.

Don’t get complacent. They’re still going to try to cheat. Check your registration. Vote early if at all possible.

Everyone who makes comics is cool and is doing a good job.

I read this out of context and was absolutely thrilled to open it and discover what it's referring to

it's not *that* complex. these are intended to be purchased by women for their male children/partners [n.b. psychological difference negligible] and the pumpkin is dead to reassure the male subject that he is still master of life and death despite scary new anal hygiene regimen

New fun fact about me, we just passed a night club in Jersey called Satin Dolls and I said “lol that looks like the strip club from sopranos” and then, curious but sure I was wrong, looked up where the real strip club from sopranos was. And fellas you’ll never guess what happened next

I've been getting back into comics while I wait for more info from my concept job, and I thought I'd make a post about something very important to me, which is COMIC PANEL VARIATION and HOW TO THINK ABOUT IT.

(Re: last repost) I took the survey, pls do the same!!

If they ever switch over the official English release of One Piece to AI translations, I will go back to scans. Full stop. I am Mr. Official all the way but this one thing would make me hit the high seas indefinitely. Took the survey and left a paragraph. Please do the same!

Shueisha shared a new survey on its Shonen Jump Manga Plus site that asks quite a few questions about how folks feel about AI translations for series. www.siliconera.com/shueisha-man...
