Writer of fiction. Heart that you call home. Movie stuff. Music junk. Mental Health. Still chasing the highs of discovering AOL and finding the lows of everything since.

Stoked to feature in the new issue of @claudineliterary.bsky.social with a new story. It would mean a lot to me if you could give it a read. Big thanks to dearest Diana (@dehardy.bsky.social) for giving my story such a wonderful home.
New microfiction by @sarpsozdinler.bsky.social!! We Only Rest in the Storm “Cody asks what it feels like to have a dad that is not around. I shrug and say it’s like having a skinned knee, fine at first and sore after you notice all the damage.” www.claudineliterary.com/sarpsozdinler
Our very own Lesle Lewis was recently on the radio show Poet Talk on WMUA 91.1FM 📚❤️ here she is reading (while I read along) the title poem of her latest collection John’s Table (out now!)
Getting back to my b&w roots this month with the reissue of Issue 10 and the publication of The Bully in My Pillow. Both still available to pre-order at a discount because both are running a wee bit behind schedule thanks to printing snafus and delivery mishaps.
"The Imagine Dragons lead singer, Dan Reynolds, is still waiting for his appetizer." Tension, stakes, steaks...really, everything you need is in Hell's Kitchen.
It was always the movement, not the color that caused the bulls to charge, so really, if you think about it, saying I have all these red flags means nothing because the color is for the audience's enjoyment.
Tragic update: TimTams will remain a memory until I can venture further out. Tragic Kingdom: Don't Speak.
I had the chance to speak with Jennifer Jenkins, Director of the Southwest Center at the University of Arizona, about THE LOWEST BASIN: ARIZONA STORIES and Arizona Literary Regionalism for the Journal of the Southwest Radio Hour. I hope you’ll check it out!

A lot of major changes have happened the past two years and finding Stanchion was, and is, a bright spot. Art, like breathing, sometimes feels small and seems like it just leads to the next breath, but it keeps us alive. I refuse to accept this, and since this is the internet I don't have to.
Officially announcing the end of Stanchion Magazine, providing context as to why, answering some questions, and saying thank you. 🖤🤍 www.stanchionzine.com/post/the-end...

The experience of reading a thousand microthinkpieces filled with projections and personal declarations and then seeing a clip or screenshot placed back in its full context provides me with more questions than answers.
I was told inside me were two wolves, yet my novelty t-shirt has three, therefore, unpinning my belief system and causing existential angst.
I'm sorry, but internet refugee? And you're talking about switching apps a few years later now? I can only exist in spaces created for me is such a weird consumer-minded stance. Same people who will later argue how social media distances us from real interactions.

New #poetry from Mitchell Nobis: "That Which Glows in the Gray".
We've figured out costs for a permanent home but are still trying to figure out how to make that happen. Shares are still very much appreciated!
I'm still doing a GoFundMe to help my parents rebuild after a devastating house fire. The costs of doing so, with an uninsured house, are extremely high. My parents are elderly and low-income and my disabled brother lives with them. I deeply appreciate shares of this link! gofund.me/ac93c03d5
When this place was founded, there were a handful of families that owned most of the surrounding land and they shut out most outside business for years until the inevitability of time and outside sprawl; the collapse of tabacco and textiles. Anyway, we got a new Taco Bell.
I seem to be reaching fewer and fewer people on social media thanks to AI slop and algorithms, so I did the one thing I dread more than a deadline: got on camera. My new book SLEUTH-HOUND is up for pre-order now. It would mean the world if you grabbed a copy👇 Preorder: linktr.ee/drlindseyfitzharris
