Another resistance quilt finished this week. The eye is my own design, the letters are a fpp pattern by QuiltByNight, the rounded corners and black binding are meant to resemble the phones we the people are using to document the horrors and disprove the government’s lies about what they are doing.

A multicolored quilt made of of scraps with the words WE KNOW WHAT WE SAW staggered down it with a large beautiful eye centered between the words. The eye has a rainbow camera aperture as the iris. It is quilted densely.

Here’s the situation in the Twin Cities: Random Bovino-style tear-gassing: Way down Relentless persecution of immigrants: Unchanged Thuggish violence against observers: Way up

What should alarm us about the Epstein files isn’t just the appalling details, which are horrific and criminal. It’s that here is a growing sense that there is small number of elite who see themselves as above the law.

ICE detained multiple kids (all under the age of 10!) in the last week alone. Still kidnapping people based solely on the way they look. Still arresting parents at school pick up. Nothing has changed in Minnesota. Nice words from the Admin won’t change that. ICE leaving will.

The judge writes: "Observing human behavior confirms that for some among us, the perfidious lust for unbridled power and the imposition of cruelty in its quest know no bounds and are bereft of human decency. And the rule of law be damned."

JUST IN: A federal judge on Saturday has ordered that 5-year-old Liam Conejo Ramos and his father from Columbia Heights being held in a Texas detention facility be released “as soon as practicable” but no later than Tuesday, Feb. 3.

Federal judge has ordered the release of Liam Ramos (the bunny hat boy) and his father. A brief and rather remarkable order. Clearly written to be shared widely, so please do. storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.us...

Ultimately, Petitioners may, because of the arcane United States immigration system, return to
their home country, involuntarily or by self-deportation. But that result should occur through a more
orderly and humane policy than currently in place.
Philadelphia, September 17, 1787: "Well, Dr. Franklin, what do we have?" "A republic, if you
can keep it."
With a judicial finger in the constitutional dike,
It is so ORDERED.
SIGNED this 31st day of February, 2026.

Popping out of the vehicle guns drawn and pointing them at a legal observer exercising her constitutional rights. Everything about this is reckless, dangerous, the opposite of law & order and keeping anyone safe… how do people see this and not see masked secret police style terror on US streets

This is just insane. It’s only a matter of time before DHS kills another innocent person here. (clip via MPR and @davidjbier.bsky.social on X)

Relief printmaking was traditionally a form of protest art. I'm a linocut artist, and I protest. So here are two linocut resistance posters for Minnesota (a loon, the state bird, and an eagle)--if anyone wants high-res images to use, just DM me. Feel free to use them.

And they always told you the Democrats were gonna take your guns. It’s not the Democrats. It’s the fascists. And they’re saying it out loud. No doubt this will wake up millions who haven’t been activated until now. This is happening, America. To ALL of America. Including gun owners.🚨🇺🇸

Trump: "With that being said, you can't have guns. You can't walk in with guns. You just can't. You can't walk in with guns. You can't do that. But it's just a very unfortunate incident."

in Hungary do they have masked agents of the state gunning down civilians in the street? I feel like we need to dial up our authoritarian regime comparisons quite a bit from where they were a year ago
