In general, the idea that every voter suppression tactic and attempt to erase Black representation is actually going to backfire due to xyz is a really easy way for people to convince themselves they don’t have to actually do anything.

The Voting Rights Act is essentially dead and it’s quite possible that we will, like when a similar SCOTUS gutted civil rights at the fall of Reconstruction, see a disappearance of much of the Black congressional representation, especially in the most heavily Black states, which are in the South.

We don’t talk enough about how morally depraved the tech industry turned out to be. Every single ounce of their self-regarding statements of values was an outright lie.
