A shocking report, and hopefully a call for institutions to do more. I only worry that by not breaking down the data by region we may miss important things (McGill alone had nearly as many responses as every other institution combined outside of Ontario and Quebec). www.canada.ca/en/canadian-...

Antisemitism on campus is 'systemic' and going unaddressed, says new report - 95.7% of Jewish students say they saw or experienced antisemitism in 2025 www.cbc.ca/news/politic...

So many sneering elitist journalists with snarky posts over the past months that the Reflecting Pool story was trivial. It was so trivial that the DC US Attny presented false evidence to a grand jury to indict an innocent man to please the President while they both lied about it.

When those people use “normalize X” to make some passionate plea, it just means, ”make everyone like what I like!” Ma’am, you are an adult. No one needs to “normalize” small houses or white fridges or not assuming everyone likes cake. Grow up. Like what you like. Move on.

12/ Canada's response is already visible. Exports to non-US markets rose 17% year-over-year, even as exports to the US fell. Ottawa now targets doubling non-US exports by 2035. That's what the leverage is buying — a trading partner rebuilding its economy around not needing you.

I know this isn't the point, but this seems to have come from a hack by the same people who hacked Canvas. Interesting to see what would have happened with everyone's data if they hadn't paid the ransom. Perhaps putting everyone's data together is a bad idea?

Read our story from July 9 about how an MSG database tracked and categorized hundreds of celebs, famous Knicks superfans, and even some of Taylor Swift’s wedding guests. Labels included “LGBTQIA,” “DO NOT HOST,” and low to high “risk.”

The Avison report on BC's higher education system has been a major topic of discussion in PSE for months. I decided to write up my thoughts on what it might include. TL:DR not all mergers save money, and there are other ways to solve the cost problem. www.noaharney.com/the-cost-pro...

The Cost Problem

As the BC Government continues to review the Avison report on our post-secondary education system, lots of people are discussing what potential options there are. This is because one of the core re…

Claire is doing the Good Work here for us. But the TL:DR is that if you do the goose chase meme for "which things in the Latin mass do you want to say" long enough you find out that its the anti-semetic parts Vatican II took out.

all right fam it's time for "Give Us This Day Our Daily Thread," in which your favorite internet lesbian breaks down what's new and hot in the world of Schism Watch 2026 please hydrate, stretch, and get a snack, we have a LOT to go over today

Google search is less useful, and chrome seems to be having a lot more performance issues. So sure, shoving gAI into everything is going great... I'm sure there are no *very relevant* case studies about what an upstart in the industry can do with an opening like this. *cough internet explorer*

Every person who tries to make excuse for a public official or candidate with a 'we shouldn't hold a little xyz against them' or 'who hasn't done xyz' has 100% done xyz themselves or had a close friend do it.
