But it's actually because the father was charged with beating and threatening to kill the teen and the mother was charged with witness intimidation.
I find it interesting that centrist Dems are allowing the insanely unpopular Republican Party to shape narratives in the media, it's almost as if they agree with them. Any Dem conceding ground on trans rights has zero to do with winning a state, they hate trans people and are using the GOP as cover
