Second crack at a son of Corax. This one not inspired in any way by a certain DC Comics character. No, no. Not at all. #warhammercommunity #warhammer40k #paintingwarhammer #miniaturepainting #spacemarines

And there it is: the cover of my newly-announced debut novel, Crucible of Fire. Isolated survivors of a massacred Valhallan armoured company must arm civilians and wounded in a desperate attempt to hold a key factory against overwhelming forces. www.warhammer-community.com/en-gb/articl...
Gone for a pretty subdued, dark colour scheme for my Raven Guard. Felt appropriate for the ‘death from the shadows’ vibe. #warhammercommunity #warhammer40k #paintingwarhammer #miniaturepainting #spacemarines
Been working on a zenithal Raven Guard colour scheme today with the airbrush. Think I’ve just about got it to where I want it, with no less than four layers 😬 #warhammercommunity #warhammer40k #warhammer #miniaturepainting
Started on my first son of Corax today. Probably doesn’t show too well in the photo, but got a lovely black tone with a Phoenician Purple zenithal over Corax black. #warhammercommunity #ravenguard #miniaturepainting #warhammer40k
Only today have I discovered that @theartofmichaelwhelan not only drew illustrations for The Dark Tower, but also created the cover for Obituary's Cause Of Death, as well as many other album covers of my youth. I feel this is a gap in my knowledge that has existed for far too long.
My reaction to the codex changes is that they suit me well as a White Scars player. Astartes feeling more elite, with less units, makes sense. Intercessors being able to perform actions and shoot/fight makes my primary missions more manageable (IE Death Trap) #Warhammer40k #WarhammerCommunity
The Black Library Readers' Hall of Fame is proud to induct Scars, by Chris Wraight "undoubtedly one of the best in the series and it placed Chris Wraight firmly on the map as a masterful storyteller" - @thepaladinjournal.bsky.social #Warhammer #BlackLibrary #BookSky
Today in the Black Library Readers' Hall of Fame, the inductees for 2014 and the prospective members of the class of 2015!
This is absolutely awful, though I’m glad no one was hurt which is always the most important thing. chytomo.com/en/a-single-...

On August 1, russia destroyed the RNK-Ranok's logistics center in Kharkiv. Around 8 million books were lost, including the entire print runs of The Magos by Dan Abnett and The Infinite and the Divine by @robertrath.bsky.social from Varvar Publishing, the official Black Library publisher in Ukraine.
Today's news that @mikeflanaganfilm.com is working on #Warhammer means that he's now involved in two of the fictional universes I love the most. Very excited (as both fan, and writer, in terms of Warhammer). #warhammercommunity #TheDarkTower #warhammer40k #stephenking
I still find it incredibly strange that this has absolutely nothing to do with The Batman. Lots of people saying they hope Pattinson turns up in this. Er.....

Something unique I've found to writing 40K: The regret of using up a really cool sounding name on a character you kill off within a couple of pages. #warhammercommunity #warhammer40k #warhammer #blacklibrary
Starting to get to grips with 11th edition now. Preferring it to 10th thanks to the emphasis more on narrative play alone. Terrain rules also starting to make sense in my befuddled brain. #warhammercommunity #warhammer40k #warhammer #new40k

It's Monday, which means it's time for #BlackLibrary Weekly at the #Warhammer Wordforge! This week we're looking at the preordering struggles from this weekend, but also a restore-your-faith story from the community. And plenty more! #BookSky www.warhammerwordforge.com/p/black-libr...
@theblacklibrarian.bsky.social - have just read your article on Bain, Jay. What a thoughtful and detailed review. Thank you so much! This kind of feedback is invaluable to me at the start of my career writing for BL, so I am very grateful you took the time to do it.
❄️ Winchester’s coolest gaming venue. Cold drinks, cool air, and great games all day long. It’s hot out there. So come cool off with a glass of Chouffe, a board game, and some air-conditioned comfort at Mythic. #TabletopGaming #AirConditioned #BeatTheHeat #BoardGameCafe #Hampshire #StayCool
Fair warning, if you play me at #Warhammer40k at any point in the near future, and table me by turn 3, I will be referring to you as a FRHAKIN' ECJA CHOFA. #WarhammerCommunity #Hive #DanAbnett #BlackLibrary
Hey folks! Got a review of the recent Age of Sigmar horror short story, Tattered Sails by Jake Ozga, from the pages of White Dwarf. Easy to miss- but one that shouldn't be! #Warhammer #BlackLibrary #BookSky www.warhammerwordforge.com/p/white-dwar...

Right, there we go then. Pre-order (and rather nice coin) obtained at my local store in Winchester. My first launch edition for over thirty years, and definitely my first as a writer for the company 😊 #warhammercommunity #New40k #40k #warhammer
Every Warhammer fan will have their own story of how John Blanche transformed their game & informed their lives. The man was a giant whose shadow has cloaked the entire hobby, not in grim darkness, but in vibrant, idiosyncratic colour. Rest in peace, Mr Blanche.
Had a lot of very positive feedback from the #WarhammerCommunity about The Chronicles Of Bain, which I am extremely grateful for. Thank you so much if you have taken the time to read the stories in #WhiteDwarf. There is more coming from me soon! #warhammer40k #warhammer #blacklibrary
