House update!! Finally got the carpet and flooring installed from the flood damage. And tomorrow the repair team will be finishing putting in the dry wall. They just have to mud it, put the exhaust shield back on and edges
So yall know ive been having contractors all in my house thr last few years. And do people not offer them a bottle water or pop for them to drink anymore? Everytime i offer, they all look shocked. I was always raised/told if people repair/fix your place, to offer them a beverage.

My former co-head and I even did interviews with potential texas/texas adjacent cosplay judges to: 1. Make sure they were a good fit 2. Give representation for the area because who doesn't like to see area known people rep a con in their home state? 3 "stay within budget"

Meanwhile when I was cosplay head of CCT it was like pulling teeth to let me even try and fly out judges. I was told thats too expensive.
