So my housing association have moved me into a flat with a broken boiler. This property has been empty for several months so they had time to fix it but no one did. The boiler guy told me he told them about the issue in December. It will require scaffolding to access/fix Anyway I have no hot water

Why is it up to mental health patients to highlight that we do not want to be the canaries in the coal mine for these types of technology? We urge all Trusts to end their contracts with LIO Health and stop using Oxevision.
Given the millions of £s of public money that has been spent on this system, how can it continue to be justified? There is no strong independent evidence. There are significant safety, privacy and data concerns. When will NHS England, CQC - ANYONE - step in? youtu.be/XjTcBdn_z6s?...

There is no "strong independent evidence" that [Oxevision] has improved patient safety, an inquiry has heard [The experts] concluded the studies did "not provide strong independent evidence of improved patient safety, acceptability or cost effectiveness" www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...
Evidence lacking for Oxevision monitoring tech, inquiry hears

Yet the week that the Lampard Inquiry heard about the lack of evidence for Oxevision (now rebranded as LIO health), Oxfordshire Mind accepted their money in a corporate fundraising/promotion deal. An outrageous and disappointing decision @mind.org.uk
I've been to sent to A&E by my GP. I will be SO mad if I have another gallbladder infection 😭 meant to be moving in a couple of days

A thing I do when I'm stressed (currently moving house, dealing with intense pain/gastro woe, trying to do survivor activism work) is instead of focusing on the understandable stress I hyperfixate on something else Anyway are my cats nipples normal or does she have mammary cancer
Anyone have non-patronising tips for coping with pain? Especially when there's uncertainty about the cause of the pain (so added anxiety cycle) Painkillers only taking me so far. Doctors uninterested. Awaiting surgery, although there's some disagreement over whether this is all gallbladder sth else

Surveillance technology in health and social care like Oxevision is intrusive, coercive and not fit for purpose, and much of its development links to warfare. Why is it being commissioned, and where c...

Every story I read about Spotify makes me even more glad I ditched it and found a service with better sound quality that pays the musicians more (all the other services have better sound quality and pay the musicians more)
Yet another paper about Oxevision (now LIO health) has been retracted. How many more? Will the NHS finally accept the lack of evidence for this technology and its fundamentally flawed research? #RetractionWatch @retractionwatch.com #MadSky journals.plos.org/digitalhealt...

So who DOES still use Oxevision (now LIO Health)? This is what we know
Oxehealth, the makers of Oxevision (now rebranded as LIO health), have long boasted that they supply 50% of NHS mental health Trusts in England. However, as a result of our campaign and increased scrutiny of the technology, we can now reveal this number is down to just 36%! #MadSky #StopOxevision
Something I've noticed over the past decade or so in mental health is the ease in which relatively newly qualified nurses or professionals move up the ranks to take on more senior/managerial roles. Seen it locally, nationally and it's evident in inquiries/investigations Why do you think this is?
Does your NHS trust use Oxevision (Lio)? Here is the full list of what we know including it's use in NHS hospitals, police stations, prisons and private care providers If any of these are local to you make a complaint. People's voices matter

Imo, NHS England and this Labour government cannot continue expect members of the Mad and Disabled community to continue to dedicate their lives to the kind of policy and implementation work that should be done properly, safely, legally, by NHS England.
It involves a front row seat to the very worst and most abject clinical neglect of one's peers, it involves Coroner's reports and it's an awful lot of collective mourning for people sho have been harmed and who have died. It's not work that can be switched off at 5pm.
It's great to see that Trusts are turning away from renewing contracts or commissioning Lio Oxehealth products. It's frustrating that it takes Mad people keeping up consistent campaign pressure (unpaid) over years to get Trusts to listen.

Just filled this out. We find that we get weeks of ever louder, bigger multi shot cakes, barrages and rockets that are sold by a dodgy shop near us called 'Untouchables'(!) even though we're a crowded suburb of pet owners and elderly peopple, living next to farmland.
We get a month of fireworks in November around us. It's miserable. www.gov.uk/government/c...
I have just completed this - basically the general public should not be allowed to buy fireworks at all If we must have them, they should be restricted to organised displays safely managed by professionals

Jesus. 35 UK universities quietly- without debate - joined the Ministry of Defence’s “Battlefield Alliance” which seeks to “reorientate academia towards Defence and National Security” They’re destroying the social sciences and humanities while militarising the institutions
The Luddites' actual argument was that automated looms meant expensive, skilled workers were being replaced with literal children, who were then getting maimed and killed, and maybe this is bad.
The Luddites were “clinging to horses and carts” because it was the early 19th century and cars hadn’t been invented yet.
