We lost Liza Palmer yesterday to cancer. She was an absolutely brilliant writer. She was smart and casually insightful. You should pick up Family Reservations, or any of her books, really. But I also have this video of her talking about the book. It's the closest I can come to letting you meet her

A little querying PSA: When you're pitching a novel, your comp titles should be novels. Yeah, it's fine to throw in a movie or TV series in addition, if you're pointing toward a trend in audience interest, but no book comps in your actual genre makes it looks like you can't find any.
