I did get it working yesterday and I didn't have to reinstall windows. just had to hide the tpm device in bios. now idea why a windows update fucked it up the way it did, but hopefully the laptop will keep working because I am way too poor to buy a new one 🙃

the van started up fine so it was just the battery. I also picked up a wheelchair I found on Craigslist for my sister's kid so that's taken care of.

Our mutual aid distro ran out of hot meals in 25 minutes last night. Usually, it takes 90 and we’ve even had leftovers to put in community fridge. People are frantic for any donations we have to distribute. The increased precarity is palpable.
