What's the bizarre take by some internet rando that you saw years ago but still think about regularly because it was just so unhinged? Mine is the Redditor who said that all cats hate to be touched by humans and what we interpret as affection and pleasure is actually an expression of their trauma.

There is no version of yourself you could become that would satisfy the people who hate you. So you might as well be who you are.

It wasn't Christopher Nolan (who I have a mixed relationship) or Anne Hathaway (who I love) that got me to see The Odyssey, but an overwhelming sense of FOMO and being nosy about what every key else was talking about. Now I can involve myself in other people's discussions.
