Our community is devastated by the loss of of Grey Wolfe, a pedestrian using Cesar Chavez boulevard. Last budget cycle I tried to bring an amendment to fund improvements to this road. My office is working to find funding for safety improvements again. This can’t be the norm anywhere in Portland.

Next week City Council will hear a pair of legislation that formally denounces the Trump Administration's attempt to terrorize our city with militarized units, while codifying Sanctuary City status protections. Portlanders have been waiting for a formal expression of City's Council will on this.
