Even if Badenoch does believe in rehabilitation, and the evidence that she does have a strong belief in it is pretty thin, in purely political terms, is it really worth the candle?

I know being a Nazi is far worse but I’m still intrigued as tk why somebody would break into a police station and steal an inspector’s uniform.

Whenever people die “after a short illness” or “after a long illness”, I assume it’s cancer. Am I correct? If so, is it still taboo or just a wish for some privacy?
Hopefully Priti Patel will stop referring to Louise Haigh as a “convicted criminal” on account of her spent conviction in that case.
I’ll tell you who don’t get second chances even years after things like low-level drug convictions: “foreign criminals”. And one reason Badenoch wants out of the ECHR is to stop such people who may have jobs and families getting second chances.

Certain posters are not beating the allegations that a certain type of British journalist is incapable of extending empathy to anyone other than the 50 or so colleagues they run into at dinner parties, a grace they extend to those 50 people but think minorities & the disadvantaged are unworthy of
