Im a little behind on UK news having left 3 months ago, but am i understanding this correctly. JK Rowling wants to destroy a respected human rights organisation in order to prove she isn't anti-rights?

My child is not a danger to anyone. I asked him what he would do if we were still in the UK and he told me he wouldn't go back to school. He is 13. This is about cruelty nothing else and what makes me sick is people in the UK don't care.

Just had meeting with kiddo's school. She has been fully supported, treated with full equality & dignity for years. All of that changes from September. Full segregation & humiliation across the board. The school staff cried in the meeting. This will absolutely lead to children's deaths 1/2

On our year of travelling we are currently in Germany. I absolutely love this country, I have never been made to feel so welcome anywhere. Visited our first Volkfest last night and came away with no voice from singing, a load of amazing new German friends and a big smile on my face.

They said that the children did not have face to face consultations, which is a lie. Meanwhile, they decided the children were harmed and decided what would be best for them without ever having a discussion with parents or children. They haven't met a single child whose life they just destroyed.

Update: Young people & families today received shocking & transphobic letters from NHS. These letters tell people that endocrine care (blockers / HRT) is being fully withdrawn in 7 weeks time (July 31st). Forced medical detransition. This country is a danger to trans children & young people.

Im assuming if pro Palestine marches are to be banned as they are intimidating Jewish people, far right marches such as those organised by Tommy Robinson will be banned as they intimidate Muslim people?

It will be 3 weeks tomorrow since we left the UK. Life is so much better. We have driven 2000 miles, my husband and I have talked so much about what we went through and for the first time in a long time we are feeling more relaxed. I feel like I can breathe again...

Had a weird new experience this week now that we have left the UK. Took my sons blocker prescription to a pharmacy who cheerfully dispensed. Given the hoops we have to jump through normally to get it, i can't quite believe it.

1 - My son was in hospital before Christmas with a life-threatening condition. One which will require support for the rest of his life. We were transferred to another hospital, and he has been seen by a fairly large multi disciplinary team.

Watching the GC lot tear into Cass is interesting. The narrative is that she has always pandered to trans children. Meanwhile, I'm sat hearing the stories every day of the children whose lives she has absolutely destroyed. Stories of parents who are distraught and don't know where to turn.

Cis people, how many times have you been asked to describe how you masturbate, and what you think about when you do, to access healthcare on the NHS?

Also at the end of the 24 month study, after 12 or 24 months on blockers, the young people have to go back to MDT review panel at the end of the study and every year for renewed approval of continuation of blockers. There's a serious threat of withdrawal of blockers hanging over them for years.
