Theatres are keen to sell insurance to cover audience members but what about main cast members being indisposed? Most important thing is that the actor gets the time/space to recover. But selling full price tickets for tonight without mentioning the understudy is playing the lead is quite poor.

Freeze an unopened bottle of still water overnight for use in the heat wave. Careful when first opening as it'll gush from the expansion of the ice (but who cares about a bit of cold water) and it is an excellent way to have cool water over several hours as the ice melts.
