I have the whole day to myself so I’m indulging by getting a massage and buying nonsense I don’t need but love to have at the Dupont Farmer’s Market. Nonsense includes fresh mushrooms, heirloom tomatoes, and pickles.

Parents are fed up with friends and relatives giving their kids “personalized” AI-generated storybooks with characters resembling their kids. Apart from data privacy concerns, literacy experts say these garbled and convoluted narratives could be an impediment to learning how to read.

This evening after biking to camp pick up the family biked down to Navy Yard for free fishing, fished for an hour, then biked back home past the Capitol. It’s so easy to bop around to free events around the city in a bike.

W/ all the negativity re “teen takeovers” & some teens ruining things for others, it’s great the dc rec & events dc evening for dc teens w/ dc bouncebeat go-go band TOB on July 17 @ CareFirst Arena was a success . I haven’t seen criticism of this one. TOB IG screenshots here
