One thing I keep noticing while using bsky.app (or mu.social and other forks) is how network-chatty the application is. Is this lack of optimization? Is this how XRPC is supposed to be used? Are hundreds of requests simply not a problem anymore since HTTP/2?

Is there any tooling for atproto PDS operators to be made aware of moderation actions against data stored by their users? Mostly wondering because as a PDS operator you'd be legally responsible to delete illegal content, even if it is made inaccessible at the app layer.
