Defeated Colonel Oka’s final attack w/a 12 (needed 7) and finished my 1st full solo play of the excellent Guadalcanal: The Battle for Henderson Field from DVG. I know I made lots of mistakes, both tactical and rules wise, but earned a Major Victory with 38 VP’s. Love this one!

"Guerre Eclair" by Yasushi Nakaguro is such a brilliant compact #wargame. Despite very few components, the decision space is incredibly rich and engaging. I love getting it on the table and introducing #wargaming to people with it. 🎲
