My two cents is that Polanski was an idiot to share that Instagram post but I cannot see a universe where the t-shirt approaches the standard of incitement. Reform would be weakening its stance on free speech advocating for a lowering of the threshold. But that would assume principled consistency

#Russia: We are outraged by the murder of artist and vocal critic of Vladimir Putin, Robert Kuzovkov, in Poland. While full details have yet to be released, it is clear that an artist has been killed in Europe for their free expression. We call for a transparent investigation.

the spread of youth social media *bans* is a great example of politicians performing an act of regulation that not only is ineffective - it's hardly even 'friction' - but it's a disproportionate attack on the rights of kids that incidentally feeds into the censorship narrative of the right.

Your regular reminder. Free expression (both online and off) is not like learning to drive or drinking a pint. You don't get access to it when you become an arbitrary age. Under 16s have free expression rights making any ban a far more thorny and complex issue than presented.
