That Joshua Bonehill-Paine is a suitable Tory candidate but Grant Shapps and Gavin Barwell have been excluded is quite a good indicator of how many seats the Tories will realistically regain at the next election.

A counterpoint of course is that the Mayor of New York is gaining huge respect (and votes) *precisely* because he's concentrating on the 'little things' such as the parking and the bins.

Aside from *everything else*, this continues a dangerous tradition of politicians wearing police uniforms. Politicians should not be allowed to use 'POLICE' uniforms. For one thing because they are not police.
