I think I would respect Universes Beyond a lot more if they made some really left-field choices and committed hard. Like. Give us Le Petit Prince or Arrested Development or the Wes Anderson Cinematic Universe instead of the same slop we already see in every other fucking form of media

I had this Japanese poem (#77 from the Hundred Poets) in my mind when I wrote the message. The image of swift waters parting and joining again was written about lovers, but I feel it equally applies to old friends, and even old hobbies. It’s alright to have time apart and meet again down-stream. 💙

i have a million thoughts about shoebox but the one that keeps sticking with me is what an honor and a pleasure it has been to be working with every single person on the team. admin, judges, coverage, artists, vendors, even venue staff and the local shops who printed our t-shirts and playmats etc
