Sometimes, when I'm in the right mood, I make video games and art. Or something. Made Celeste with friends, working on City of None and Jumper at EXOK.

considering making a tiny local calendar app. I want it to just work on local files that I sync with syncthing across my computers and phones. I tried some Obsidian plugins but none were quite right...

I was really late to TNG but I watched it all with my partner recently, and it immediately became one of my favorite shows. There's nothing else that hit me quite like it did. Rest in peace, Patrick Stewart.

i've found when you work with people you actually like and they come back with roughs you usually go "wow i hadn't considered doing it like this, this is an awesome direction!" and you appreciate what different perspectives and ideas they bring into your collaborative work.

for this prototype I need jump heights to be very precisely tuned. The main constraint is that the maximum is just over 3 tiles (3 tiles + 2 pixels to be exact) and the minimum is just over 1 tile (a wider range was okay here, anywhere 2-4 pixels above)

trying to make things kinda generic so I can combine different systems. here the "pully" event can listen to what "percent" something is and move other objects based on that. and then I have an "attachment" event to tie objects so they move together.

Tower of Gold is coming November 1st! 🎉 It's a massive puzzle/action game with a first-person overworld full of characters and mysteries. I'll release a trailer alongside the game, but here's a small teaser in the meantime! #indiegames #indiedev
