Do any of y'all live near Pasadena and have a living room/kitchen I could use to record my bassist? His apartment is somewhat hostile to this idea so I'm trying to see if we can avoid having to rent a motel room or something. Public spaces all seem to cost more than that or are non-private.

It’s very simple and it’s been said over and over but I guess it needs saying continuously: if you deem one group too small to have equal rights you are enabling fascism, not fighting it. The people saying Dems are GREAT on trans rights are not paying attention and/or saying stuff like this.

New Yorkers should know whether the apartment they’re looking at is real. That’s why we’re working to require apartment listings to clearly disclose when images and videos have been generated by AI. Finding a home in New York is hard enough without artificially generating more problems.

Also, our EP "Broken Bones and Makeshift Homes" is 1 year old this month! AAAAND we just finished up guitars for EP 2, we hope to start drip feeding singles by the end of the year!
Remember that this is also the timeline where conservatives go to extreme lengths to stand in solidarity with other terrible people, so I see a scenario where Ed Sheeran plays the whitehouse with Kid Rock and Kanye West opening. I mean if that was a headline this morning you wouldn't bat an eye.

Alejandra Caraballo@esqueer.net · 2w agoA trans man in the UK has been banned in the workplace restrooms after he was forced to use the women's restrooms to comply with the new EHRC guidance. The women complained because he is visibly male and so they told him he can't use any bathroom.

He's now facing an impossible situation at work with his employer telling him that due to recent legislation he must use the toilet of his birth gender. BUT several female colleagues have raised a grievance about him using their gendered toilet.
His employer has told him that he cannot use the toilet while he is at work until they sort it out and cannot give him a timeframe to do so. They do [cut off] have disabled separate toilets.
In the mean time one of his female colleagues has accused him of sexual harassment because he was used their gendered toilet. His menstrual cycle meant he needed to use the toilet.
He's been with the employer for just over 5 years but only in this location for 18 months. The location is mainly male with just a handful of females, and his workshop only has male toilets.
I do not know how to support him and as he's not in a union there is no one to turn too right now."
