Maybe instead of sending job applications & waiting for the daily parade of rejection emails, I can just email myself rejections & alleviate the effort of tailoring every single fucking resumé in an attempt to guess what mood the AI is in today & what level of subjugation HR requires.

I need every political candidate ever to put my damn phone number in the trash and never send me another text message. Especially the ones who DON'T EVEN LIVE IN MY STATE. Y'all. Just stop. Texts are not helping you. People hate them. You could stop spending money on that and do something else.

"This election is about the threat of trans kids" is the worst possible messaging for Dems yet so many candidates are leaning into it. No voter will flip R->D over it. Low-info voters read this as "you're focused on bullshit that doesn't affect me" while the base reads this as "you're an asshole."

Incredibly disappointing ad from Mary Peltola (D-AK) saying she neither supports "kids getting surgeries to change genders or men in girls bathrooms." Yes, flipping the Senate is essential and can stop bad laws and bad judges from happening, but she can do it without my support from the lower 48.

There are already articles circulating trying to rewrite history and say America was great after 9/11 and united and thoughtful and just a reminder that that period was marked by intense and insanely racist hatred, paranoia, and a frothing desire for unhinged violence and oppression.

It's shocking to me that I have never read the Lord of the Rings books, but I finished Fellowship of the Ring and now I am deep into The Two Towers and...it's really as good as its reputation. I can't put it down. As usual, there's more to the story than the movies.

There is so much amazing crop art this year at the Minnesota State Fair focused on the resistance to the ICE occupation we faced, this one in particular had me choked up.

Crop art with a whistle text says

I can't keep doing this
I have to keep doing this

The backlash to data centers, Flock, Meta glasses, and AI, is loud, animated, bipartisan, and wielding real power. It's the most popular and united political movement in the nation right now, and it's still growing. So of course Silicon Valley is in complete denial.

With the backlash to data centers, Flock and AI glasses, a mass opposition to big tech is underway. Silicon Valley is in denial.

The backlash against data centers is difficult to understand if your salary depends on your not understanding it.

"In Indiana, funding for the program was removed from the state budget in 2025." "Missouri lawmakers similarly divested from the reading charity, slashing state funding for the upcoming fiscal year from $6 million to $2 million." When people show you who they are, believe them.

The future of Parton’s Imagination Library has become uncertain due to the quiet machinations of Republicans in the Midwest that have sought to unravel public funding for the cause. trib.al/Z9f1GpD
