Ten years ago today, CPSC shared its first safety meme. What started as a single baby floating in a force field in outer space has become a universe with dozens of safety characters spanning hundreds of safety graphics sharing thousands of safety messages.

All of CPSC's social media characters gathered around a giant number 10 floating in outer space. The text reads: Happy 10 years of safety memes to all our followers and friends! Tomorrow, we care for one another all over again!

Threddy turned 9 yesterday! Nine years ago I walked into a studio and painted this ceramic dinosaur. I didn’t know it at the time, but it would kick off a series of fun adventures that I’m grateful for. The project’s been quiet the past few years. But I’m thinking that might change soon…

The acting attorney general’s conversation with Trump appears to have taken place just hours after the president publicly mused about pulling Blanche’s nomination and instead trying to push through a fund that could be used to compensate Jan. 6 rioters and others who claim to have been persecuted by the Biden administration. Announcements at the beginning and end of the Intercessors for America call stated that it was “not intended for press purposes.” A speaker told attendees that the call was “not on the record” and directed any journalists on the line to hang up. POLITICO was not on the call on Thursday when it took place and did not agree to any limits on reporting. Audio of the session was posted on YouTube by Intercessors for America, which calls itself “the largest national prayer ministry dedicated to praying for our government and leaders.” As of Monday, the recording remained publicly accessible.

Beacon CRM is the company that was hacked. The company has an "incident guidance" page that you probably wouldn't be able to find through a search engine, because the company added a "noindex" tag code to the page's code, preventing it from being indexed. www.beaconcrm.org/incident-gui...

In my experience, scholars of a particular historical period are the LEAST uptight about "accuracy" in fictional representations of their period, which is why, as a medievalist, I can assure you that A Knight's Tale is the greatest movie set in medieval England that has ever been made.
