REMINDER - Dane County's monthly outdoor warning siren test will take place on Wednesday, August 5 at around noon. Sirens are tested monthly to ensure they are ready when needed. Monthly tests may be canceled if there is a risk of severe weather.

I hate the fact that life has turned into an endless series of single-use kitchen gadgets. Want to go to a theme park? Better install their proprietary app. Want to go to another theme park owned by the same company? That will be another app.

My current GM vehicle won't even let me dismiss the notification to install Gemini. Every time I start the car, oh, notification! Full screen "install Gemini!!!" No, thank you. So now I'm just ignoring notifications, which I'm sure won't be a problem in the future...
