Very disappointing from the new Prime Minister, very much sounding like the previous PM. These are among the world’s most vulnerable and desparate people. They need safe routes and humanity from responsible politicians, not grandstanding. This isn’t doing politics differently.

Burnham pledges to be "relentless" in curbing small boat crossings

Green Talks: Get Ready for our next online event! Join us for the second event in our new series - for this event we explore why we need wealth taxes in the UK to curb ballooning inequality, and ask whether Andy Burnham will back them as the new PM.

Crop yields down, our countryside scorched and over 2800 people are dead due to this summer's heatwaves. Meanwhile fossil fuel giants are raking in record profits. We must end this rampant profiteering, and cut fossil fuels from our energy mix as soon as possible.

BP profits more than double to $5.7bn in three months as Iran war sends oil prices soaring - "While BP banks enormous profits, millions of households are paying the price" #energycrisis #climatecrisis www.theguardian.com/business/202...

If I had the time, I would write a letter to Nigel Farage saying how humans are the direct cause of the climate crisis, and scrapping net zero will make heats like this and these wildfires across the continent normal. We need to stop reform from touching the House of Commons.

Will Andy Burnham wake up and and notice that Europe is burning due to the climate crisis, including his own country, and now drilling in the north sea will not help at all from this disaster?

Mitch McConnell is dead. He suffered a fatal heart attack and his death will not be announced until August 4th to prevent a special election. This is corruption from Trump's administration and needs to be called out. *SPREAD THE MESSAGE*

Wildfires are spreading and we aren't doing enough about it. The public need to come together and pressure the Prime Minister to scrap north sea oil drilling and focus on green and renewable energy We need to reach net-zero before it's too late.

Wildfires are tearing across the continent and here in the UK as well. This is what climate breakdown looks like. It's time our governments stopped fuelling the crisis and started tackling it.

Poster warning "EUROPE IS BURNING" and "Wildfires are burning across the continent" over a background of flames and charred branches, listing countries at extreme, high and moderate risk, with Green Party attribution at the bottom.

County list is as follows: Extreme: France, Spain
High: Portugal, Italy, Greece
Moderate: Germany, Finland, Croatia, Bosnia & Herzegovinia, Montengro, Wales, Endland, Scotland, Ireland.

This year, we had the hottest temperatures in June *ever recorded*. When will the Prime Minister realise that we need to invest in green and renewable energy, not in north sea oil?

If you live in Greater Manchester, I highly encourage you to vote for the Green Party candidate, Geraldine Coggins, on Thursday 30th July. Only the Green Party has what it takes to restore hope in this country and restore greatness in this country.

We *NEED* to reach Net-Zero. Climate change will be irreversible by 2030, and our government *STILL* wants to continue with North Sea oil drilling. What we need is to invest in green and renewable energy.

Our country needs a change. We need an unapologetically left wing government. Neoliberalism isn't working for the country. The constant adoption of right wing policies by a traditionally left wing party isn't working. Private industries aren't working. That's because labour is no longer for us.
