Joanna Cherry not only thinks she can tell people what gender they are; now she thinks she can tell lesbians they’re not really lesbians. She’s been listening too much to her other pal by the same first name, who thinks she’s the arbiter of identity because she made up a talking hat or whatever.

I am thrilled to be part of this new forum in German History alongside wonderful colleagues for which I have a lot of respect (even though...yes..we do disagree 😆). Thank you @npapadogian.bsky.social and Craig Griffiths for this opportunity!

The conference report by Frederik Doktor about our #Workshop Intimacies on the Move that explored the intersecting #histories of #mobilities, #migration, #gender and #sexuality has just been published. I so much enjoyed meeting everybody and discussing their fascinating research!
