Beat Mega Man 2 Watch today lol. It was a pretty fun adaptation. The platforming felt fine, tho the couple swipe-to-turn segments were finicky. Boss fights were still about timing and pattern recognition, but I missed boss weapons and weaknesses.

Love to have a well-made indie game that offers some meat and some challenge without being the longest and most difficult game I've ever played. Mina really nails offering up some challenge while still always feeling achievable.

It is fine, good, and even useful to remember the past, so long as one doesn't get trapped there. The question is: what do we learn from the past and apply today so that some day we can say "the rise of the open social web was a beautiful moment in time."

Reflecting on yesterday's #fediforum, which I'll blog about this weekend. A common claim was "we've built everything _we_ need, now we need to talk to others and build for them." If that's true, why was the event hosted on a closed platform? And used two different closed platforms for note-taking?

Huge thanks to @fediforum.org and @masnick.com for organizing and facilitating today's un-workshop on Growing the Open Social Web. And everyone I met there that I'm gonna spend some time trying to track down and follow. It was a ton of fun, but now I have too much interesting stuff to think about!

The short answer is: I'm not betting on one over the other. I'm building on AT right now because of the DX and because AT fits my specific use-case better. When I want to build something that fits AP better, I'll use that instead...
