Procreate's biggest weakness is its inability to handle large files. As an illustrator, I can get pretty big illustrations inked/drawn but I color them on the computer. The drawing/inking matter most to me though so that part doesn't bother me as much.
It took me some getting used to don't get me wrong, but I get irrationally annoyed when people put down Procreate or act like it isn't crazy responsive or has a fantastic brush system. You think I LIKE glazing an iPad program??

The older I get the weirder I find this framing. Characters are tools to tell a story. They are narrative devices, ones I put human qualities into sure, but it's less about torturing and more about what story and themes I wanna chew on.
