Lammas blessings from Glastonbury Tor. It was a beautiful morning and lovely sunrise. Lammas means "loaf-mass," and marks the very first grain harvest of the year. Lammas/Lughnasadh A few photographs from this morning.

The moon having a rest on St Michael's tower at sunrise this morning. I took too many photos of both moonset and sunrise this morning so more to follow hopefully when I have had time to work through them all. 😂

Following my moonset photograph earlier, this was sunrise from the opposite side of St Michael's tower. I went up one side of the hill and down the other side to get the two images.

In my historical methods training, I was always taught “we start with a historical question.” I would never use “I’m testing a hypothesis” in my work. I might have a working theory or a working hypothesis, but I’m certainly never *testing* it. That’s ripe for cherry-picked, law office history.

I’d like to make it clear for all the people following me what the sheer gravity of the news is. Without this facility we can’t ensure constant communication with spacecraft beyond Earth orbit. If this facility is off-line, the Artemis program cannot send a crew to the Moon.

I’m struck by the “I can just tell they’re illegal” in the same way some people say they can “just tell” if someone is trans. Presumption of guilt based on whether someone conforms to your standards.

The Dutch equivalent of Cass, (except it’s a proper scientific review not pseudoscientific drivel like Cass) has wholeheartedly endorsed puberty-blockers and full gender affirming care for young trans people.
