Last night, the GOP members of the Senate approved Trump’s effort to destroy the rule of law in the US, wreck the Justice Dept., enable rampant corruption, defend pedophiles, and attack the president’s enemies. And they know they did those things. An egregious violation of their oaths of office.

In Romania, Sorin Grindeanu wants to become Prime Minister. But if a PSD-led government can only survive thanks to AUR’s votes, it would mark a red-brown breach in Europe’s democratic firewall. AUR is no ordinary partner: it is a far-right, nationalist party with some pro-Kremlin instincts. 1/2

This week we learned from analysis of Stasi files, that Putin was the handler of several individuals who are now senior figures in the AfD. Which helps explains why AfD is always on the Kremlin's side in any conflict with NATO or Ukraine, and AfD's drive for positive relations with the Kremlin.
