The problem with using “AI Slop” as a term for media that you don’t like is that it ends up helping AI because it ultimately makes it harder to distinguish what is actual AI and what isn’t. It ends up being a “Boy Who Cried Wolf” scenario.

What I think is the real story here is that Nintendo actually gives a shit about their employees-- between Tomodachi Life and the new Starfox game, it's clear they're doing a big push towards onboarding younger talent. Starfox's facial tracking and online multiplayer is so obviously training
