Judgemental as fuck. But also sleepy. I have lots of ideas. I should be writing right now, but reading feels more productive.

When I see typos or grammatical errors in a piece of writing, I immediately discredit the author and assume they are also making mistakes in researching the subject they are writing about. I hate this whole idea.
Authors and journalists are doing more first-person (hello 2010s blogging) and embracing "mistakes" in writing to prove they're not chatbots. There's even an “anti-Grammarly" app that leaves in typos and signs off "sent from my iPhone" to create more authenticity: www.wired.com/story/more-t...

Novelists, journalists, and power LinkedIn posters are embracing first-person narratives and idiosyncrasies to avoid being mistaken for chat bots.

I barely have friends because I'm socially anxious and don't understand social cues. And I keep to myself a lot. "Anti-Woke" people don't have any friends because they hate on people over stuff that has nothing to do with them. We are not the same.

Department of ED and FEMA will take at least two presidencies to get back to bare minimum functionality. And probably another term to reach net positive impact.
The idea that deep institutional damage can be easily rolled back seems like a very odd take for a conservative. The damage to the civil service system is huge, and legislation is needed to reassure future hires they won’t be fired on a whim.
I wrote this book in a frenzy over 5 months nearly 13 years ago. But just this past week at the national conference for the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication, two different academics told me they had cited my work in their own research. Beyond gratified. loom.ly/73SUhCo

Yeah see…this is the type of senior exec productivity clusterfuck that sounds good talking to other execs but on the ground it means 1 person trying to fill 4 roles, none of which they’re an expert in. Add in a.i. and it results in slip and security holes all over the place
“At LinkedIn, we used to have product managers, designers, we had front-end engineers, and then we had back-end engineers…we took those roles and combined them. In fact, increased scope and said, they're all full-stack builders” - Satya Nadella ~ The focus on evals means everyone is also now in QA
