Happy Pride month, all! Way back in 2018 I made these galaxy pride flags. They were shared many thousands of times, featured on Vice, and even made their way onto book covers and into video games. Here are the original ones I created (in no particular order!) so Bluesky can have them too. 💙

Today I booked in my first round of the HPV vaccine (via a private pharmacy - £185) and also completed the free NHS-provided postal STI testing kit. Bit grim, those lancets, and I couldn't quite fill up the tube with blood (drink water!! I guess) but it's DONE. 💪

Authors are a group of people in which imposter syndrome runs rampant, creating work without a performance element so without immediate feedback from the audience, often with no idea how our work is faring, no control over it, often with out of date sales data. Prime brain weasels fodder.
There was always something a bit magical about the Pilgrimage of Tripitaka being inaccessible, a sort of meta-commentary on the disappearance of early Buddhist canonic works. But there's also something great about it being accessible at last!
