Yeah man you’re doing a great job with the convincing
Hanauer: “It’s not a done deal by a long stretch but it is something we need to explore. I get it. I know change sucks. I’m one of those people who believes change sucks. I know there’s a chance we’d lose some fans, but I don’t believe we’d lose all of your … I hope. We’ll have to convince you.”
Tacoma Defiance is hooping, playing street ball just not a care in the world they are playing a Galáctico. This is soccer cinema.
There have been three ceasefires in the war with Iran since the Sounders won a game
😳 Seattle Sounders have lost 6 matches in a row for the first time in their club history. They play Liga MX side Toluca at Nemesio Díez Stadium next.
You set the bar at this is a team that will always compete for trophies; So what are you willing to do when the team is no longer doing that? We don't see you living up to the expectations you set. Show us.
There really isn’t a player on the team over the age of like 25 or member of the staff that could they traded or fired where I’d think it was a bad decision. As bad as 2016 pre-Sigi getting fired was it never felt this hopeless to me.
Looking forward to what Gallatin Sandnes has to say in the postgame press conference
Tomorrow, the House will vote on the NDAA, which includes a provision to merge parts of our military with the IDF. This amendment is an existential threat to American sovereignty and democracy. Every member of Congress must vote NO.
After Thursday’s loss, it seems as if many Sounders fans have reached a boiling point. It’s beyond time for ownership to act and put up real money for roster improvements. www.sounderatheart.com/2026/07/soun...
Sounders leadership needs to listen to fed-up fans
Lack of spending isn’t why the Sounders were humiliated by the Timbers, but that loss should be a catalyst for long-term change.

I think the bad loss was just the cap erupting off the dormant volcano if you need symbolism to tell you how the current vitriol seems to feel different this time. Definitely feels like the core audience is fed up with what feels like non-action for many seasons.
If this is the main takeaway from Thursday then we actually have much bigger problems.
Schmetzer shouldered a lot of blame for Thursday’s loss. ‘Maybe I should have done a better job at making sure that the guys understand that it is a rivalry, and it's something that's important to us. ... We did all that, but my reflection is I should have been firmer.’
Next time, host the final in America’s best soccer city
this shot is so bleak lmao
Thanks, world. We've got it from here.
BREAKING: Tonight’s marquee MLS match between the Chicago Fire and Vancouver Whitecaps has been postponed due to unsafe air quality, per sources. Canadian wildfire smoke has blown south to Chicago. Robert Lewandowski’s MLS debut is on hold. www.nytimes.com/athletic/745...
Hey fans, fall in love with all these homegrown and academy kids and then watch is sell them off and sign absolutely no one in return is a dog water value proposition for supporters
Alexi is the punching bad of the World Cup and he’s certainly earned it but to me Warren Barton is even worse
Hopefully so. Ultimately I’d rather have Minoungou than Arriola and I’d rather have Leyva than Dotson. Petkovic might turn out to be a great signing. I loved the Ferreira signing and still do. But to me it feels like we’ve mostly replaced pretty good cheap players with mediocre less cheap players
@jeremiah.sounderatheart.com I'm confused here. How have we burned through 5.3 million in GAM since the start of the window, especially considering the Vargas and RBW sales? Is it being put towards extensions, cause I really can't think of anything else and even that seems like way too much.
The “prosecute the former regime at every level” candidate has my vote in 2028.
Mayor Jacob Frey: “To ICE, get the fuck out of Minneapolis.”
There is no better representation in American Soccer than the Seattle Sounders. NASL, USL, and MLS. Founded in 1974. Culture. History. Trophies. Sounders. 🐳 @SoundersFC
Do you know what level of evil you have to be to have the majority of MLS root for the Sounders? I hope Don Garber cannot sleep at night
