If someone is trying to do everything they can to get more people into their cool experience, when they very much could just say "this is for friends only, sorry," I think that is actually the very opposite of the definition of gatekeeping

complaining about avatar perf feature is lame, I'm excited to learn how to optimize, I'm excited for perf limited events, and i'm excited for non perf limited events when everyone has their bells and whistles. This is a win win win for everyone, especially those who can't afford high end GPUs
