A second outing to Stoppard's Arcadia at the Duke of York's* yesterday. A beautiful production of that tender, clever, ecstatic, hysterically funny, profound play. On for another 10 days... (Sat on the stage which was FABULOUS.) * soon to be the Tom Stoppard, hooray.

Congratulations to the wonderful Mary Ann Lund (Leicester) on publication of her second (!) vol. in the Oxford Donne Sermons edition. Fantastic textual and critical scholarship on his mid-career at St Paul's.

V&A and a contemporary copy in St Paul's Cathedral Chapter House.

For all who love Philip Sidney's poetry—and who doesn't?—my musical edition of his psalms is now out. Some may be surprised at this, but I make a case for his use of French psalm tunes, based on his Huguenot tutor, French church next door, and colleagues using them for their own psalm collections.
