The marketing scammers targeting authors are taking a new approach. Apparently the French are frothing for my 3rd poetry collection, Non-Essential Work!!! They must have it! What are we going to do about this?! Lol.

Hi Omar ,
While we haven't met or spoken before, I wanted to connect with you directly today because I recently presented Non-Essential Work to our reader circles across various language origins, and your book immediately generated a massive, unexpected reaction.
When I personally went through the details of your book, I was deeply drawn to your exploration of love, loss, and timeliness, using forms like the sonnet and sestina to contend with memory, history, and the quest for trust between poem and reader. It is a compelling premise, and seeing those specific details made it immediately obvious why this work resonated so strongly.
That brings me to the major challenge we are facing right now: while engagement from our English speaking circle was modest, our French speaking readers showed an overwhelming demand for your book. This French origin circle does everything, reading, speaking, and discussing, in French. Yet, after seeing your book, they insisted that I reach out to you directly to find out how they can get access to read it. We know this isn't just happening within our organization; many French readers out there are likely facing this exact same challenge right now because of how much love there is for your book. That brings me to the major challenge we are facing right now: while engagement from our English speaking circle was modest, our French speaking readers showed an overwhelming demand for your book. Because our readers specifically pushed me to contact you about this, I wanted to open a direct line so we can solve this together. This represents immediate, high visibility engagement from a passionate group of readers standing by.
What are your thoughts on this situation, and what perspective or solutions can you share so we can help these French readers gain access to your book without missing out?
I look forward to hearing your perspective so I can report back to our readers!
Best regards,
Paul Benjamin

Apparently we've got 162 gen ai data centres in Australia, & "90 in the pipeline, including some of the largest in the world." Here's a petition to pause them, for anyone concerned about the fossil fuel & water guzzling, climate change acceleration, noise pollution & long term health impacts, etc.

Not only did he stop her from challenging the world record, but what he did was extremely dangerous and could have hurt her. She initially defended him, thinking it was a mistake. He’s the one who then came out and said he did it because he’s racist. www.bbc.com/sport/weight...

Powerlifting racism row: 'I feel unsafe' says Sonita Muluh

A powerlifter who was disqualified following an alleged racially motivated act has said she "does not feel safe" when competing, and says black athletes are frequently booed in competitions.

Sonita Muluh (black Belgian woman) was sabotaged by a white spotter who admitted he did it on purpose because “I’m a racist” and “I hate you, pieces of shit”. She was going to try and break the world record and he made sure she couldn’t. She came in 2nd and was denied a repeat.

I saw this video of a Black woman, a weightlifter, in Belgium? And she was going for some sort of lifting record. one of the spotters, a white man, put his knee in the way & prevented her from going all the way down. Somebody posted about it on insta and the guy responded that he did it on purpose..

Recently, I’ve been reading The Railway Children by E. Nesbit to my son - he picked it out at the bookshop when I read the title because he loves trains. It was published in 1906. Nobody tell Zionists about this page or they’ll try to get it cancelled.

A page from The Railway Children that begins with the line “the kind of clergyman when he points with a wand at the ‘Scenes from Palestine’”.

This is a perfect illustration of why I have no faith in US mainstream journalism to protect us from anything.🤷🏿‍♂️ This is their idea of holding some people accountable: going to their banquets and causing fleeting, awkward moments, seconds before accepting an award from them and shaking their hand.
