I once wrote a biography on Jack Kirby for a middle school assignment, only to have it rejected for not being "historical enough." 🙄 So I wrote a new one on Harry S. Truman. But I still have my Kirby bio w/ its laminated cover and a traced drawing of his portrait. Happy birthday, Jack Kirby.
