I think the thing that a lot of people get wrong about #naturism historically is that it's not about "non-sexual nudity". It's about living a clothes-free lifestyle. Naturists basically want the act of being naked to be no different than wearing clothes and promote it as a healthier lifestyle.
Good thread. These points are all very valid – we shouldn't have to go around reassuring people that we won't be sexual. As you say, we live our lives (or parts of it) in exactly the same way as anyone else in every other respect, including the sexual aspect.
True, basic, fundamental nudism is about comfort, freedom, being shame free with total acceptance of the nude human body. It’s the belief that the human body is not inherently sexual or lewd. Nudists understand nudity and sexuality are two entirely separate subjects. #NudityIsNatural
