people even just 10 years younger than me have expressed that they genuinely didn't know homophobia was so all over the place that "gay" was used all the time as a synonym for "stupid"/"lame". celebrities, characters, etc are openly gay/bi/pan & it's not typically considered "inappropriate" anymore.

every time I watch a show that predates smartphones whose entire premise would be defeated by them (e. g. free long distance calls/foreign language translation/gps/mapping/flashlight/dictionary/notes/a million other uses) I think about how for all their flaws it really is the tech of the future lol

If I got swallowed by a whale it would recognize my superior posting abilities and keep me alive to utilize them. Unrelated but we dont talk enough about krill on this app. This app unfortunately has a real anti-eating mass quantities of krill bias, and its why this app will never be mainstream.
