28 people flown to indefinite detention on ICE Air today from Minneapolis. In rain that got heavier as the loading process went on, MN50501 volunteers observed construction workers, elderly, and women. If you may have loved ones on the flight, full footage be seen here: youtu.be/gJr9Q79MQxc 🧵👇

The imminent flight that I mentioned at the end of this story has taken off. Sounds like it’s going to go Senegal - Ghana - Central African Republic, with the latter two being third-country removals. At least one of the immigrants being sent to CAR is from Nepal.

NEW FROM ME: A frenzy of cruel and unusual ICE flights over the last few days suggests the Trump admin is ratcheting up its ethnic cleansing campaign. And it may be increasingly desperate to find willing collaborators. My breakdown: gillianbrockell.com/frenzy-of-cr...

Signature Aviation, MSP's private jet terminal, was busy yesterday, with aircraft from the Pohlads, Cargill, Target, Marvin Windows, Sanford Health, and ICE. The ICE Air flight was loaded with 29 shackled detainees, who were flown away from Minnesota to Alexandria, LA and El Paso, TX.

Please listen to this interview with @gillianbrockell.com; I cannot reiterate how proud I am to know her, and what amazing work she’s doing - so many of us are trying to speak for those with no voice right now, and I don’t know of anyone doing it more effectively than her.

“ There were 78 ICE flights yesterday. Every single one of them was dangerous because the people were shackled.” – Independent journalist and former flight attendant @gillianbrockell.com on ICE’s brutal removal flights: on-the-media.visitlink.me/ndp8ea

As someone whose airport has a spineless, chicken-hearted approach to acknowledging reality, it’s refreshing to see BDL’s comms team talking about this - plain clothed ICE agents are detaining people at airports after TSA, before boarding.

Two recent ICE flights may have been third-country removals--an Air Wisconsin flight to Dominica yesterday, and an Eastern Airlines flight to Paraguay overnight. Both countries have TCR agreements with Trump. Paraguay has taken third-country nationals around the third week of the month since April.

🚨 ICE just published their recent numbers and it's worse than we thought. JUNE: ICE and CBP took 43,138 people. That works out to 1,474 of our neighbors every single day. JULY: 65,765 people are now inside US concentration camps.
