With a trajectory to lose the war, the probability of a Russian attack on NATO now increases dramatically. In isolation, such an attack has a small chance of success, but 10% is better than 0%. It could be that Europe is idiotic enough to slow down support for Ukraine, just as Puitn hopes for.

Again, gas prices spiked in 2022-23 because Russia invaded Ukraine which caused a major disruption in global supply. Then they came down. Biden didn’t cause it. Gas prices rose in 2026 due solely to the stupidity of Trump who started a war in the Middle East.
