Hello from Pixel Paradise! Join me for some retro gaming bliss. I stream a lot of #MiSTerFPGA, real arcade hardware, physical pinball, and obscure console gems. twitch.tv/owlnonymous

Cleaned up the Sega PRAS 3 and got all the RAM recognized! 🙌 Now I just need to order the Noctua fans and, hopefully, pick up an Arthrimus SEGA JVS Console I/O V2 Passthrough Brooks Board Adapter if they’re ever come back in stock. 🎮🔧

Can anyone that works on #MiSTerFPGA get the Synamax Sinistar code working on the Robotron core? There is also new sound fixes to be implemented. The new code is rebalanced an implements ideas the original designers wanted, as well as a new shield function . archive.org/details/arca...

29 long years have passed since I founded the emulation archive, Zophar's Domain, on 11.9.96. To this very day, the site still stands as a testament to an era that never actually disappeared but continues to live in the hearts of retrogamers all over the word. Emulation Forever!

Current progress on splatteworld: here's the retooled shop screen. Not final, but a big step. Item names are placeholder, but we're limited at ~14 characters max due to how inventory screens are laid out. But it's still a damn sight better than 8. Before and after attached.

Splatterworld Japanese shop screen. Upper left window says "Weapons." Below it is an annoyed-looking shopkeeper. Under him is the character list, and below that is the player's "Horror", the currency in the game. To the right is the item list, limited at 8 characters per item, Buy/Sell options below it. At the bottom of the screen is shopkeeper dialog; he's asking "What are you buying?" All text is 8x16.Splatterworld translated shop screen. Shopkeeper is at the top of the screen, above a window that says "Weapon Shop." Immediately to the left of him is the character list. Below both of those is the item list, which now allows up to 14 characters per. Below that is the player's horror (currency) on the left, and Buy/Sell on the right. The 8x16 text has been changed to 8x8, and the selection sprites have been widened horizontally and shrunken vertically to fit the new names. At the bottom of the screen is shopkeeper dialog; he's asking "What are you buying?" This text remains 8x16.
