this anger towards GRRM for not finishing ASOIAF feels mean. He doesn’t owe anyone books. It reminds me of Frank Herbert and Dune, which he also never finished…but his last book Chapterhouse: Dune ended on this amazing eulogy for his wife who passed while he was writing it. These are real people.
For me still the number one X-Men crossover. Not only do they lose, they lose badly and there is very little they can do about it but wonder what went wrong and how could they fail so catastrophically. The rare big superhero crossover that centres on a failure without any triumphant comeback

Wherever could the idea that the X-Men are constantly losing have come from, I wonder? Perhaps this first mutant event will shed some light!
The zenith of 90s X-Men. You'll hear every say it's cool as fuck and you'll be like "It can't be that cool" and then you'll read it and lo and behold it is somehow cooler. Unfortunately everything after this is the franchise achieving the worst diminishing returns I've ever seen in a big 2 comic-

I'm kinda sympathetic because I've seen some interviews where people were genuinely rude about his weight so you can imagine what it was like behind the scenes. I understand why this post is like this because I think one of the great failures of the Fox X-Men movies is that the X-Men don't hate or aren't scared of their powers enough so it makes it seem like Rogue is the only person who is crazy for hating her powers

If I tried to rank the Spider-Verse movies above Spider-Man 2 I would be lying to myself. Sometimes the best really is the best as boring as it may sound

If anything, I'd have expected people to keep them out of their rankings entirely, because they're so obviously better than any of the live-action movies that it's not fair to consider them side by side.
